Salman Khan does his bit for Sri Lanka

Salman Khan, who is shooting in Sri lanka for the film titled Ready, has not left his philanthropic side in India.
DNA has learnt that the actor flew down four doctors from Mumbai to the island nation to do the cataract operations for the needy.
A highly placed source present in Sri Lanka reveals, “On the first day itself they did 190 cataract operations. On 9th, 10th and 11th they did over 500 cataract operations.
The entire cost is being borne by Salman’s charity. The doctors went to two places Vavuniya and war troubled Jaffna to help the underprivileged. $HOM$
Salman has done a lot already for Sri Lanka. He feels like home there and so when he is getting time off Bhushan Kumar’s shooting schedule, he is doing all this to help the people.”
Salman's foundation also flew down after-care medication and even the technical equipment required for the operations from India. Meanwhile, we also hear that actor Asin Thottumkal also visited the two cities. The First Lady of Sri Lanka, Madam Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa, also accompanied the stars during their visit.
